At least 27 people were killed and dozens were injured on Saturday when storms and violent storms occurred in the central states, officials said.
Local news shows that the roofs were torn from houses and large trucks overturned, as forecasts warned more about more storms this weekend.
Local police said that eight people were killed in a crash related to more than 50 vehicles in Kansas, causing less death during the “severe dust storm”.

According to the tracking site, Portage.com, at least 200,000 houses and businesses in the Central United States were without electricity until the Central Eve.
More storms were forecast on Saturday in the Central Gulf Coast states, including Mississippi and Tennessee.
