How do you see that the role of the pharmacist beyond distribution in the context of reproductive health, especially to increase access to anti -contraceptive access?
Cutler
Thank you for asking about it. I think it is very important for pharmacists to be educated, because spreading in other countries and in different states, pharmacists can really write medicines. I think the availability of more products than the counter will help reduce some of the obstacles that patients are facing to get the product they need. Even we look at countries like Canada and other countries where there are really products, which are available to patients. I think this is going to be very important. I think it is important for pharmacists to be educated about side effects, be educated about any drug interaction, and are able to provide patients with education so they can make the best informed decisions.

What resources and tools will you use to live on topics such as currently living on sexual health concepts and effectively educating patients on topics?
Cutler
Well, there are still many resources available through the CDC. I think some of the best resources are the latest guidelines, medical qualification standards as well as election practice. So, I think practitioners should definitely read them. They come with a really good chart that provides something really quick information. There are also websites like bedsider, and it is good for providers as well as patients. Also, I really love that they have a birth control pharmacist website, so you can see which pharmacy offers these services. Pharmacists and other health care professionals are eligible to train their patients about providing proper information so they can make educated decisions.

Given the growing spread of anti -contraceptive options, how do you make sure that patients are making informed decisions about their reproductive health?
Cutler
I think it is important to stay over time. I know that social media is a huge, huge thing that people actually rely on. I think getting good information, even on this type of outlets. I think there is also a pharmacist on Standbai, which we are always in any kind of place that sells any of these products, so that we can be able to educate the patient on things that they should know about the side effects, if they do not talk about the drug, they may not be able to talk about it. Can be less than that. As I mentioned, drug interaction, but also patients who can weigh a little overweight can reduce the utility to some extent. I think it is important to be once again, if it is important for them to know what to do if they lose a pill, because many times, not all options will be foolproof. It is very important, very important that it is very important to know about everything about how it works.

What do you think community pharmacists can cooperate with other health care providers to improve patients’ results in reproductive health?
Cutler
I am really about mutual support, as I think many health care professionals, unfortunately work in salvage. I don’t think this is a really good point of view, because our main purpose is to help the patient. I know for myself, in any medical activities, I have always worked with therapists, nurse practitioners, social workers. Even I work with audiologists in my practice, so I understand that working together is really important. I know some obstacles I have noticed is that sometimes the physician wants to make sure that everything covers through a pharmacist. Therefore, being able to inform them of the information we are aware of and also working with them to ensure that we are giving all the information to the patients they expect and even additional information. I also believe that it is important to ensure that patients are still going on their usual tours, to ensure that we are reducing the spread of cervical cancer. Which you still need a normal pop smear, just to see these things you need a normal cervical exam. And also, HPV vaccinations and various vaccines are supported to meet other patients’ problems.

Would you like to add something?
Cutler
I was just going to say, I think it is very important for your staff and everyone who works with you. I think pharmacy technicians, their really, are really important key characters. Depending on the original setup of the actual setup of you, using any health care professionals, and even if you work in a community setting. We say that you work on a target, or, Walmart or Walgreen, and are not specific to a particular organization, but to ensure that everyone is aware of what the pharmacist can do and what is presented in this particular field, so we can get the information to all.
