House Oversight chairman says there’s evidence of conservative debanking, hints at investigation

James Camer, Chairman of the House Over Site Committee, R-Ky. Has indicated the investigation of financial institutions regarding claims of conservatives being a bank. This comes when President Donald Trump called the bank leaders during his address at the World Economic Forum.

The Kentucky Republican revealed to Maria Barteromo, anchor of ‘Sunday Morning Futures’, that there were ‘numerous examples’ of these claims.

Maria Barteromo: … Are you investigating whether US banks are doing de -banking to conservatives?

Trump’s Davos’s comments re -born Debanking Conflict

REP James Commer: Yes, we are. We have heard numerous examples of being a conservatives ‘Debank, and what we want to know is, is this the process of banks’ ESG policy? Is this – or is it taking our government steps? As we found with Twitter and Facebook, where the government stepped up and said they wanted some conservatives to be deplated and censored and some conservative content should be removed? We want to know once again, is it a government intervention, another dirty trick? Joe Biden’s AdministrationOr is it just a bad liberal policy that discriminates with conservatives by banks?

Maria Barteromo: Wow. So do you have a proof of some banks Debating the Conservatives?

REP James Commer: Yes, especially those who were involved in various energy businesses and such things, as well as good -speaking and outpatient conservative workers. So there are numerous examples that are enough to resume re -investigations. Is this the ESG policy, which is discrimination? And ironically, the Democrats have passed all the banking legislation that prevents discrimination. Is this discrimination caused by ESG, or is it a government? Bank are executives, like President Trump indicated in his remarks. [you played earlier,] Do these bank executives blink and shook their heads, saying, ‘Don’t let this person be a bank in his bank?’

Maria Barteromo: … What will be the effect on these banks? What should these banks expect from your office in the coming months?

REP James Commer: Well, they will be asked a lot of questions, and I will say this to banks, while investigating Biden’s influence, the bank was an institution that cooperated with us. So I hope the banks will cooperate with our questions, and hope we will get some answers. Number one, find out if our government was involved, if this is another side operation by the Biden administration where they were attacking the conservatives. At least, we want to change it. You know, we’re not talking about dengating, which means that they denied the debt that happens every day. In the world of banking. This is just to open savings accounts and check the accounts. I mean, I have not heard of doing so, and this is against the law, the laws, irrespective of the fact that the Democrats have made against discrimination.
