Paramedic was honored for mental health efforts
The Minnesota Ambulance Association honored more than 25 EMS professionals at an award ceremony on Tuesday, one of them has been given the help of mental health after a self -tragic experience.

The M -Health Fairwave Paramedic Stacy Jensen was among more than 25 professionals who were identified.
“I have a lot of honor,” M. Health Fairwave Paramedic Stacey Jensen told Fox 9. “I’m very humble.”
In 2003, Jensen responded to a school firing in cold spring. In 2004, it was diagnosed with PTSD.
Now, many years later, he has turned his grief into a purpose.
Jenson launched a toe support program to help the M -Health Fair View emergency respondents who are struggling with their mental health.
Now more than 150 emergency respondents have access to secret mental health support through phone calls, texts, emails and personal conversations.
“If someone [is] Jensen says, to struggle, it is a slippery slope, and if we can prevent a person from falling down this slope, this is a win.
