Gemini gets new coding and writing tools, plus AI-generated “podcasts”

On the heels of its new Gemini model release last week, Google has the Announced A pair of new features for its flagship AI product. From today, Gemini has a new canvas feature that facilitates you to draft, edit and improve documents or code. Gemini is also getting audio overview, it is a clean capacity that appeared for the first time in the company’s notebook LM product, but it is getting more useful as part of Gemini.

The canvas is similarly (confused) with the Open AI product of the same name. The canvas is available on the Web and Mobile app at the Gemini Prompt Bar. Just upload a document and tell Gemini what you need to do with it. In Google’s example, the user calls for a PDF -based speech containing class note. And so, Gemini spit a document.

Canvas allows you to improve AI-generated documents within Gemini. Google are available within the editor in Gemini, with written tools, recommended amendments and different tons available in the ecosystem. If you want to edit further or cooperate with others, you can export the document with one click on Google Documents.

Canvas is also an expert in coding. Just ask, and can produce the canvas prototype web apps, azagar script, HTML, and more. You can ask Gemini about the code, modify, and even preview your results in real time inside Gemini when you (or AI) make changes.
