India’s Wipro to redraw global business lines

The company said on Friday that Bangalore (Reuters) -India IT Major Wipro has been improving its four global business lines from April 1 to improve the client’s needs.

This is its first new thing since CEO Srinivas Palia took the role in April 2024, and has come two years after a similar move under the former top boss Thierry Deal Port.

Wipro has brought all clouds, data, analytics and AI, and other related businesses under his tech services business line. The head of his cloud has resigned on Friday.

The company’s consulting business line will be headed by Amit Kumar, who was kept from Excchas Consulting last month.

“This evolution of our business letters will enable us to intensify our attention to the needs of the client with a consultative -led and AI -powered solution,” Palia said in a statement.

After the over hall, Capeco -Wipro’s biggest acquisition – Capeco will work separately under the Advisory Business Line with Head Reporting. It will be designed under business tech services business line. The two acquired companies were previously in the consultation business.

In addition to the current engineering business line, the company also announced the fourth newly created line called Business Process Services, in which Jasjit Kang is its head.
