Born in Delhi on November 4, 1938, Anwar received a BSc (Honors) and LLB degree from Punjab University and later received a BA (Honors) degree from Cambridge University in the UK.
He began his legal career as a lawyer and legal expert in 1962 and served as the Minister of Law of the country during Nawaz Sharif’s government from 1997 to 1999. He also served as a senator for a six -year period.
In his position, he made significant changes in Pakistan’s legal system.
Anwar’s grandson, Yusuf Khalid Anwar, who is also a lawyer, said, “His personality was bigger than life”. Don Dot Com.
His daughter, Aisha Siddiqui, said: “She was ideal in every way – even if she loved her as a father’s son, the best husband, the best father, the best uncle, the best grandparents – she was the shining light in the whole family’s life.
He said, “We mourn him, we grieve him, and we are very proud to congratulate him that he has the irreparable honor of calling his father.”
