Reuters, citing two unidentified sources on March 13, said that Russia has submitted a list of demands for a possible deal to end the war against Ukraine and reset ties with Washington.
According to sources, Russian and US officials have discussed these demands during the last three weeks and during a virtual conversation. These extensive terms are widespread mirrors that Russia has previously made for Ukraine, the United States and NATO.
However, the correct content of this list is not clear, as Russia is willing to engage in peace talks with Kiev before completing these situations.
In Russia’s first voice terms, Ukraine permanently abandon NATO aspirations, ban the deployment of foreign troops on Ukraine’s soil, and recognize Crimea and four partially -occupied areas – Donetsk, Lovinsk, Kisan, and Zapirzia’s Obalist.
In June 2024, Russian President Vladimir Putin insisted that Ukraine should withdraw from these four regions as a prerequisite for negotiations.
President Wolodmeer Zillsky on March 12 reaffirmed that Ukraine would not recognize any occupied territories as part of Russia in any future peace deal.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has rejected the view, despite US President Donald Trump’s February 24 claim that Putin will allow European peace troops in Ukraine as part of an agreement.
Rubio says a 30 -day ceasefire agreement may take place within a few days
The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said March 12, “Here we want to look like the world in a few days: No party is shot at each other – no rockets, no missiles, no bullets, nothing, no artillery.”
Russia, too, has continued to advance its long -standing demand that the United States and NATO have been identified that they call the “root reasons” of the war, including the expansion of the east of the alliance.
Ukraine formally submitted its request to NATO in September 2022. Although NATO members promised that the route leading to Ukraine’s membership at the coalition summit in Washington in 2024 was “non -refundable”, the Trump administration has rejected the future affiliation.
Trump is waiting for Putin to hear whether Russia will agree with a 30 -day ceasefire that Ukraine has already accepted on the condition that Moscow does. Ukraine agreed to a temporary reconciliation proposal during a March 11 talks in Jeddah, after which Washington resumed support for military and intelligence.
Putin’s response to the Seas fire proposal is uncertain. Reuters writes that some US officials and analysts are feared that Moscow will use temporary intervals to deepen the discrimination between Washington, Kiev and their European allies, preparing further aggression.
Washington Post A document prepared by the Moscow think tank near the Federal Security Service (FSB) has been reported that Russia offers maximum demands to end the war. These include a buffer zone in northeastern Ukraine along the borders of Belgurnsk and Belgorod Obalists and a demoralized zone in southern Ukraine.
The document, prepared in February, calls for “the current Ukraine government to completely abolish” and says peace is not likely before 2026. It is unclear if anyone-this document has played a role in the Kremlin’s decision-making.
Western security officials told Bloomberg March 10 that Putin had deliberately set “Maxmalist” demands regarding regional privileges, peacekeepers and Ukraine’s neutrality, knowing that they were potentially unacceptable to Kiev and European countries.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that the Russian air defense dropped 77 drones overnight, of which 30 were bridinsic Oblast, 25 compared to Kaloga Oblast, Karti and Varunz’s Obalists, and the Russian Defense Ministry claimed.
