The State Department’s website has published a map of countries where Americans are urged to re -consider the journey.
Newsweek I have contacted the State Department via email for comment.
Why does it make a difference
The United States has a travel warning to the nations, but other countries also have travel warnings for American Germany, which have issued a notice to Transgender and Binary Germans this month that they may face difficulties while traveling to the United States.
President Donald Trump’s administration is considering restoring its travel ban, making it more difficult for people from other countries to visit the United States.
What to know?
When it comes to tourism, there are four tredit systems for US government countries. Level 1: Routine precautions, Level 2: Exercise increased caution. Level 3: Re -considering travel; Level 4: Do not travel.
Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza and Mexico have been marked as “other” because traveling in these countries and regions is considered safer than others.
Trump’s second term January 20: Two countries have been re -evaluated since Burundi and Pakistan began and has been included in the list of 3 “re -considering travel”. There are a total of 23 countries where Americans are urged to re -consider their journey.
As a tourist re -considering places, the countries have been declared dangerous by the State Department for various reasons. In most countries included in this list, specific areas are referred to by the State Department as they are hot places for violent crimes and/or terrorism, and tourists are urged to avoid these areas.
On February 21, Burundi updated his level 3 rankings as diplomats and non -emergency employees had to leave for the country, which the Department of State “considered” DRC and Rwanda, political violence, crime and health borders because of the ongoing military conflict and tension. “
In the areas of Burundi, they are caused by the high risk of violence “This is the former central market located on the Chassi Printed Prince Louis Rogasore in Bojamura,” and “Sebetic and Bubanza provinces and Kabira National Park.”
According to the Foreign Ministry’s warning: “There is a possibility of political violence throughout Burundi. Police and military posts are common and they can restrict movement. Police can search for private homes for weapons. The borders can be stopped without information.”
The Burundi is the Democratic Republic of the Congo, which is currently in place of a level of 4 “Do not travel” notice.
Pakistan was returned to 3 levels on March 7. It was classified as a level 3 before Trump’s second term, but was re -issued after reviewing the rating and giving minor amendments.
Pakistan was ranked because of the “possibility of terrorism and armed conflict”.

The Americans should not travel to the two provinces of the province-Biluchistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province-as well as India’s border and terrorism, the capacity of the armed conflict, and the limited capacity of the US government to reach these places.
The Foreign Ministry also warned the Americans that “local law prohibits protests or demonstrations without permission. Pakistani security forces can be examined by the nearby protest. US citizens have been detained during the protest, during the protest, while publishing content on social media.”
Other countries listed as level 3 countries also have hot places for terrorism, and crime, and areas that make it difficult for US citizens to evacuate.
What happens next
Countries are reviewed from time to time by the State Department. The level is not a travel ban, but it reflects how dangerous or difficult the US is in the eyes of the US government and how easy or difficult it can be to get help if needed.
