PTI accuses Karachi police of ‘raiding’ its city headquarters – Pakistan

KARACHI: Opposition Pakistan Tehreek -e -Insaf (PTI) accused Karachi police on Monday that it accused its city’s headquarters of “storming”, “stolen” all the goods inside it and sealed many rooms of the building.

However, police dismissed the allegations of raids, saying that only legal action was taken by the Belfare in the Inf House in connection with the party’s tenancy dispute.

The party leaders said the move was surprising by the law enforcement agency as no advance was reported by the authorities. He also accused the policemen of “abusing the workers” who arrived at the headquarters and tried to resist.

Petty Karachi President Raja Azhar reacted strongly to the “police raid”, calling it a “worst form of martial law”.

Police denied the allegations. A bailiff took legal proceedings at the Inf House over a rental dispute

“A heavy police force stormed Annef’s house, broke the locks and entered the rooms. Why did they raid our office? We have been permanently saying that the Sindh government should stop these illegal measures.

He said that PTI is the largest political party and no one can harass its workers like this. He added, “Inf House is our political home, and any illegal raids by the police will be considered an attack on us.”

After the alleged raids in joint videos and photos by the party, empty rooms of the building were shown while seals were found on the entrance of several rooms.

PTI spokesman Fauzia Siddiqui has claimed that the raiding police party also snatched the computer and everything else of the media cell of the party set up inside the Inf House.

Police refuse to raid allegations

However, police rejected PTI allegations.

A statement issued by the Karachi Police Chief’s Office said that no raids were conducted there.

It states that a police mobile went with a bailiff, who took legal action at the Insurance House in a tenancy dispute on the order of senior civil judge South. “Police mobile was completely available for security security,” the statement said.

However, the PTI termed the police claim “ridiculous” and said there was no tenancy dispute.

“The PTI has been talking to the owner of the building to buy property for a long time. But after the political crisis came to light, the matter went to the burner and the party came under state sanctions. However, the talks are still going through legal ways and it is a total lie that the party is not in any way.
