Robin Galam worked in the tape furniture as his upholstery adviser for 10 years. From an early age has been a passion for upholstery galm.
“And because of my grandmother, I finished knowing the upholstery, who was the owner of my own shop in childhood. I grew around the sewing machines and I was learning upholstery as 6 years, “Galm said.
She is stepping on its own and is proud master Anchor stitching upholstery. But Galm says it all started as a joke.
“We all looked at each other as well, you know, so we ended the banding together and what started as a joke a day when Steve was in the appointment of a doctor, we were like we should start ourselves. And then we started thinking about it and we are very happy about it.
Steven Tapes are now the former owner of the tape furniture-the fourth generation furniture store, which began in 1920.
In November 2024, the tape decided that the time had come to remove the furniture and retire.
“The anchor sewing upholstery is making sure that my quality is run in his business,” the tape said. “That’s why we succeeded for 105 years.”
In addition to working with your mother and her motivated family, Galam enjoys fixing furniture. But she really loves those whom she gets in the way.
“I like to meet my customers and help and design and decorate,” said Gelm. “I am a very big people, so the aspect of this work has always been a fun part for me, to hear the story behind Grandpa’s Rock, or we have done a lot of clients, which is his grandmother, and now because of it, they can be with her.
