Teacher Award – Outstanding Research Mention
This year we have a special honor to pay tribute Marilyn Garza Santa Barbara Junior High. This is any honor that any teacher can get at the Santa Barbara County Science and Engineering Fair. In the last 20+ years, he has guided hundreds of students in scientific thinking with free research projects. Many of his students have a successful and beneficial experience of science, and thus they move forward to become scientists and engineers themselves. Its clear and strict thinking and love of high quality have raised the experience of all its students, whether they continue in scientific fields. This community is dedicated to Ms. Garza, who is led by cautious observation, creative inquiries, thinking, experimental design, precise data collection and strict analysis.
Science is not a spectacle game. Science is learned only by science. The Board of Trustee Santa Barbara for the Science and Engineering Council and the County Science and Engineering Fair is happy to recognize Marilyn for many years of extraordinary services for public school students.
After deciding in the morning, students conducted various interesting topics such as field research in Ligon, the use of machine learning to deal with diseases, physics makers space and phycenne lab (physics and quantitative bioosis), a study of the Immapid Silky -Mediterranean, and a component of the Immaculate Silky.
