Spring sports roundup: Defending 7A baseball champ Bob Jones runs record to 11-4

Oxford suffered a shutdown by defeating Thomson and Helena at the end of the weekend, defending Class 7A state champion Bob Jones. On Saturday, Patriots topped Thomson on the road 4-1, and on Friday, Bob Jones defeated Helena’s visit 10-0.

Oxford knocked 11-4 Patriots 6-0 in their second game on Saturday.

The Patriots scored all their runs in the upper part of the third innings and quit the seventh -ranked Thomson on Saturday.

Thomson trapped 10 runs at the base while Bob Jones left at 8 base.

Starter Joshua Wilhide won for Bob Jones, scoring 3 runs from 4.2 scoreless innings. Junior scored 4 runs and one went on. The Mac Tyler jumped with a strike and a running run due to a walk in 1.2 innings. Campiden Martin strike and walk to get the last two outs.

Martin also had a double in the plate for Bob Jones’s 5 hit films. Miles Hammonds went to 1-For-3 with a 2-For-4 and Jack Johnson RBIS couple. Dal Edkins went to 1-For-3 with an RBI.

In Friday’s victory, Freshman Desutals won with a full game 2 Hitter. He scored 8 runs and that day the Eagles had seven hit films.

Bocus received a pair from Patrick Anderson compared to Class 7A, Area 6 at home on Thursday. Henry Patterson helped Anderson both goals.

Hadi Saad also scored for the hover. Savar Holdach and Matthew Debus divided the time for BOX, Holdach allowed the purpose of the rebels.

To give two sweeps to their PCA tournament on Friday, Panthers returned after a couple of losses on Friday. Prat Will Christian defeated Obran in his last two games on Saturday and defeated Scotts Boro 6-2.

On Friday, Scotts Borrow defeated Panthers 2-1 and Brewker Tech leaned the PCA 11-2.

In the win against Abbin, Patton Thrish was 2-for-3 in which 3 runs were scored with a 3-run home to give the PCA (16-3) the lead. Sarah Patton Schutt also had RBI single. Elvia Mesk scored 6 runs and won the Circle.

In the victory against Scotts Boro, Sania Weaver scored 2 runs with 2 runs and went 3-for-4. The Adi Bird was 3 for 3. Laura Bait Nesmh scored 7 runs on the way to win.

Despite the elimination of 8 wild cats that day, Mesk on Friday suffered a loss against Scotts Boro on Friday. Patten Therash Plate went 2-for-3.
