According to the ESPN’s Adam Shepherd, San Francisco is releasing the Edge Rusher Leonard Flied.

The 32 -year -old Floyd joined 49ers last March on a two -year contract. It started all 17 games for San Francisco in 2024, which recorded 8.5 sacks, eight tricks for loss, and 16 quarterback hit. He was 57 % of the team’s aggressive snap.

Floyd is a candidate for the release of June, as 49 people will be allowed to save $ 7.95 million against the cap in 2025. Without it, the club will only save $ 1.48 million.
