A fourth defendant, Todd Allen Erickson, did not reach any agreement with prosecutors. Judicial records show that it is scheduled for a jury trial in August.

The four men were working on June 30 at the Hait Regency Hotel in Melwaki when Mitchell was there. Police said a man at the hotel “caused anxiety” and was told the officers that the man fought when security took them out.

Police said Erixon and Turner were working as security guards, Williamson was an attack on a gate, and Johnson Carson was the front desk agent.

According to a criminal complaint filed against the men, Mitchell was on the ground in the hotel’s driveway and the officers were not breathing when they arrived at the scene. The complaint alleges that Mitchell was dealt with during a dispute, beaten and kicked.

Turner allegedly hit Mitchell three times with a closed fist, and Johnson Carson allegedly hit him once. The complaint said that Erickson kicked it
